How to submit a paper online
On this page you will find a step by step guide on how to submit your paper for the 8th USA/Europe Air Traffic Management Research & Development Seminar via this website.

Submitting your paper online
1. When you are ready to submit your paper, go to the submit paper page. (Please note that this link will be available up until the closing date for the acceptance of papers, which is 23rd January 2009.)
A copy of the page is shown below; please follow the step by step guide below in order to complete the page according to best practice.

2. Complete all the fields as prescribed below; all required fields must be completed before the form can be submitted. It is preferable that the form is submitted with all fields as complete as possible.
| 1. Title | Required field | The full title for your paper. |
| 2. Abstract | Required field | To be between 100 and 300 words, allowing the reader to understand the main ideas of the work and its relevance for the air traffic management themes of the 2009 seminar. |
| 3. Keywords | Relevant keywords that apply to your paper can be selected from the list. To add a keyword, type the new keyword in the 'Add New Value' field, and then click on 'Add New Value'. This can be repeated for as many keywords as you would like to include, but 5 -10 keywords should be sufficient. | |
| 4. Theme | Required field | Select one theme from the drop down list which best describes the subject of your paper. |
| 5. Website | A URL/website address which corresponds to your paper. | |
| 6. Already submitted in a conference |
Click in the box (so that a tick appears) if the paper has previously been submitted to a conference. | |
| 7. File | Required field | Navigate to where your file is stored on your computer and upload. Please note that the format of the file should be PDF. |
| 8. Authors: | Required field | If the paper has more than one author, additional authors can be added by clicking the 'add new author'' button. Please complete the fields for one author at a time. |
| a. Title | If relevant, include any titles such as Dr. or Prof. | |
| b. First name | Required field | First name of the author. Middle names may also be added if desired. |
| c. Last name | Required field | Last name of the author. |
| d. email | Required field | Full e-mail address of the author, which the seminar committee may use to contact you. |
| e. Confirm email | Required field | Re-type the e-mail address that you have completed in the previous field, so that on submission of this form, it can be validated to match the previous address. Please avoid copying and pasting the address from the previous field, as an error may have been typed in the previous field. |
| f. Phone | Required field | A telelephone number where you are readily contactable, including the country code and area code. |
| g. Company/ Organisation |
Required field | If applicable, the full title of your company or organization. |
| h. Country | Required field | Your country of residence. |
| i. add authors/ delete authors |
Required field | Please endeavour to add all authors whose names appear on the paper to be submitted. Click on the 'add new author' button to add each new author. Authors can be deleted if added incorrectly by clicking on the corresponding 'delete author' button. |
| 9. Submit a paper | Essential action | When you are satisfied that the form is completed as fully as possible, click on the 'submit a paper' button to submit your uploaded paper and all the details that you have entered. |
